  • NAME
      ickle_control - external command-line control for the ickle client
  • SYNOPSIS
      ickle_control [ options ]
  • DESCRIPTION
      This manual page documents briefly the commands that ickle_control may take for controlling ickle.
  • OPTIONS
      A summary of options is included below.
      -r, --running
      Determine whether ickle is running.
      -b, --configdir DIR
      Use DIR as the ickle configuration directory. Default is ~/.ickle/
      -t, --timeout [TIMEOUT]
      Wait at most TIMEOUT seconds for the next command to succeed. Omit TIMEOUT to return immediately.
      -s, --status [STATUS]
      Set/get status. STATUS can be one of: online, away, na, occupied, dnd, freeforchat, offline.
      -i, --invisible [BOOL]
      Set/get invisibility.
      -a, --away ["MESSAGE"]
      Set/get away message.
      -c, --addcontact UIN
      Add a new contact.
      -m, --send UIN MESSAGE
      Send MESSAGE to user UIN.
      -o, --sms UIN MESSAGE
      Send SMS to user UIN.
      -q, --quit
      Terminate ickle.
      -h, --help
      Display this help and exit.
      -v, --version
      Display ickle version and exit.
