  • NAME
bbconf - a qt-based gui configuration program for
      blackbox.
  • SYNOPSIS
      bbconf [ options ]

  • DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the bbconf command.  For more information, see /usr/doc/bbconf/README, /usr/doc/bbconf/README.html, and
      http://bbconf.sourceforge.net.

bbconf is a program that provides means to configure various facets of the blackbox window manager. It does this through the use of plugins. Each plugin contains functionality of a different sort. bbconf comes with 4 plugins.
bbconf - a plugin for configuring the bbconf application.
keybindings - a plugin for configuring the keybindings for bbkeys.
menu - a plugin for editing your blackbox menu.
theme - a plugin for editing blackbox themes (styles).
  • OPTIONS
-v  or --version        Display version number. -h  or --help           Print help page showing these           options.

-s  or --start-plugin   Which plugin to start working           with first.         - note: bbconf looks for the 'description' of the           plugin, such as 'key bindings' or 'menu editor'           (case insensitive) for this option.         - example: bbconf -s 'key bindings'

-p  or --plugin-dir     Directory for bbconf to find its           plugins in.         - example: bbconf -p /home/dude/.studly/plugins

-a  or --args           Additional arguments to pass to           any of bbconf's plugins. The entire string           following '-a' must be enclosed in quotes.

Multiple plugins may be passed arguments on the           command line.

Currently 'loadfile=' is the only supported           argument for bbconf's plugins.  Each bbconf           plugin understands this command-line argument           and will use its directive to load its config           file from. Arguments *must* be given in the           following form:

      plugin_without_the_.so_suffix:directive=whatever,[repeat]

              - example:   bbconf -a  \          'libkeybindings:loadfile=/home/me/.bbox/keys,  \           libthemes:loadfile=/home/me/.blackbox/cooltheme'
